Project Inferno

Some (but not remotely all) of the work I did while at Mutant Arm Studios for a team pulp adventure roguelike shooter with a slightly dieselpunk interwar period setting. The project took a lot of creative inspiration from Indiana Jones, Atlantis the Lost Empire, and TF2. I was responsible for much of the early character brainstorming, sketches, and collaborated on developing a visual style for the cast with my art director Jen Wildes. I'm sorry to say that this project was ill fated, as I believe it had a lot of potential and a really unique style and tone. I'm grateful for the time I got to spend with the awesome team at Mutant Arm between 2020 and 2022.

Final design for the Femme Fatale. This was a keystone for the level of anatomical exaggeration and matte simple surface detailing intended for the final game.

Lineup sketch increasing the level of detail and giving things a dieselpunk flavor. Unfortunately I left shortly after these explorations were done and the studio closed 2 months after that.
